Central and Eastern Europe encompass a wide variety of natural and man-made wonders that will thrill any visitor. Zakopane is a mountain resort nestled in the incredible Tatras mountain range in southern Poland. Zakopane is popular in both the summer and winter resort seasons. During the summer, visitors can hike in the gorgeous alpine meadows and enjoy the fantastic panoramic views. During the winter, the skiing is excellent with four major ski areas and 50 ski lifts.
The village of Kotor is located in the province of Dalmatia in the country of Montenegro. Kotor is a particularly well-preserved medieval town with buildings dating back to the 12th century. Kotor's city walls, some of which date back to the 9th century, are one of the finest examples of medieval fortifications in Europe. There are also many shops, bars, nightclubs, and restaurants for visitors to enjoy while visiting this gorgeous town.
